- Live in Vermont
- Be in the U.S. legally or be a citizen
- Meet the income requirements as well as the age requirements for the particular Vermont Medicaid Programs
- In some cases you must meet medical criteria
- Pregnant mothers must be medically certified
There are certain income and resources requirements that a person or family must meet to receive benefits and there a maximum amounts of income that an individual or a family be allowed to have in order to qualify.
